orn in Scarborough but raised in Cottage Country, I spent my childhood reading everything I could get my hands on. As a result, a love of literature and the written word started early and has spanned my entire life.
I love the challenge of being given a topic, even one I know nothing about, and creating something that people want to read. A major passion of mine is making things accessible and understandable for everyone. I hate the thought of a person passing on something because they thought it would be too hard to understand. That’s why I like to create content that is sophisticated, but relatable, manageable, and most of all interesting!
A life-long learner, I’ve studied a lot over the years. A desire for travel that stems from my parents meant that I chose to attend schools in different places, each having a profound effect on my life. I’ve went to university in Nova Scotia, England, and Scotland, and I went to college in Toronto (much closer to home!)
Despite being in my early 30s, I consider myself a grandma of sorts (which is reflected in a few of my favourite things, included for your viewing pleasure). In addition to my favourites on the right, I am heavily invested and interested in politics, social justice, education, the environment, pub quizzes, and Google (to name but a few!)
